Teacher Consultants Wanted
Maths Week Scotland is looking to work with four teacher consultants to develop Maths Week Scotland 2022 Activity Packs. The packs have been the most downloaded item from the Maths Week Scotland website (over 10,000 times in a two week period!) and were noted by teachers as one of the most useful resources.
Each pack providing suggested ideas for in the classroom and outdoors. Expertise from teachers will help us create engaging and useful content for schools for Maths Week Scotland 2022. Including activities linked to maths in the workplace as well as this years theme of Beauty of Maths which explores maths as a beautiful and creative subject.
Development of the packs will take place between April – July. Teachers will work with Education Scotland to suggest and develop activities to be included in the packs. This is an ideal opportunity for teachers passionate about engaging young people with maths. Activity packs cover Early Level, First Level, Second Level and Third/Fourth Level. We are looking for a teacher to support the development of each pack.
There will be a fee of £250 per teacher.
