The Maths of Ship Design (Dumbarton)

Celebrating Maths Week Scotland 2022 the Scottish Maritime Museum is hosting fun family workshops!
Explore the maths behind ship design and dazzle camouflage. Participants will have the opportunity to paint their own dazzle pattern on ships and build periscopes to test their design’s success. Workshops are free with museum entry and recommended for children 8+.
The workshops in Dumbarton will run on Saturday 1st October 2022 at 10:30am - 12:30pm and 1:30pm - 3:30pm.
Please note, the Scottish Maritime Museum has two locations! These workshops are taking place at the museum's Denny Ship Model Experiment Tank, Dumbarton. For further information about the museum and how to get there, please visit the link below.
