Maths in the Real World - Construction Planning

Suitable for upper primary and secondary years
For Maths Week Scotland we are running a series of talks from STEM Ambassadors to show how the maths students learn today can be used in the world of work.
Anne Okafor is a Construction Planner who despite having anxiety around maths in ealier years has gone on to overcome this and help others to do the same.
Find out how maths is used to collect data and then used in the decision making process during construction planning
The talk will be followed by the opportunity for participants to ask questions.
This free talk is suitable for upper primary and throughout secondary years across all subjects as well as for practitioners who want to develop their own knowledge, available to all UK settings. The talk will be available as a recording after the event for anyone who has registered.
