Maths in Maps: professional learning for family and adult numeracy tutors is a half day session, run in the National Museum of Scotland and designed to support numeracy tutors to use maps as a resource to explore numeracy. We will consider the history and purpose of maps, look at example activities that tutors could carry out with their learners and explore some resources involving maps and maths.

The session will provide lots of opportunities for networking as well as exploring ways of engaging adult and families in learning numeracy in order to set maths in motion!
