Maths Circles and open-ended problems

Join in to meet staff and students from the University of Edinburgh and discuss together how to help young people to think like mathematicians.
During this online workshop, aimed at both primary and secondary teachers and at all educators with an interest in Mathematics, we will give a brief introduction to the very popular Edinburgh Maths Circles. We will explore some of the resources we use and dicuss how such resources can be used in the classroom/community center and can spark curiosity and help young people develop their mathematical thinking.
The event is free to attend but booking is required. For further information and to book a space please visit the booking link below
