Maths Attack! at Lauriston Castle

Join us at Lauriston Castle for a weekend of family friendly activities to celebrate Maths Week Scotland.
Our first activity is showing families how to use ‘Napier’s Bones’. Families will be able make their own set of ‘Napier’s Bones’ to take away with them. Available 10am - 12noon, suitable for ages 10+
Our second activity is a self-guided Maths Trail around the grounds of Lauriston including estimating, counting, shapes, adding and subtracting, and multiplication (in which those who have made a set of Napier’s Bones can use them, but this won’t be a prerequisite). Available 10am - 4pm, suitable for ages 7+
