As part of Maths Week Scotland, Town Trails have been set up around a number of the large towns across Dumfries and Galloway:
- Annan
- Castle Douglas
- Dalbeattie
- Dumfries—Town Centre
- Kirkcudbright
- Lockerbie
- Moffat
- Newton Stewart
- Sanquhar
- Stranraer
- Thornhill
- Wigtown
You can download a copy of the Town Trails below, there is a page for each town.
Learners and their parents/family members are invited to answer the questions displayed around the towns and then use a smart phone to scan the displayed QR code to submit all answers.
Remember to take a notepad and pen to write down each of the answers as the last QR Code will take you to an online form to submit all your answers.
The Trails will be available from 26th September—2nd October. Please submit all answers on the Online form (via QR code) by 8pm on 2nd October.
All correct entries for each Town Trail will be entered into a draw and winners selected at random. Winners will be notified through their school. Photos of the activity can be shared with school.
