Mathematical Knitting

  • All

Calling all knitters! You are invited to contribute to our banner for ‘Maths Week Scotland’ by knitting squares, with each square containing letters that make up the headline ‘Maths Week Scotland’ and other squares containing a semi-hidden mathematical symbol.

We will send the participant a free kit consisting of yarn and knitting pattern charts by post. Through participating in this project, we hope to connect more people with mathematics both within Glasgow University and the wider community and to engage the public with mathematics by showcasing the finished product through MWS and other outreach events.
